Our VACs adhere to the highest standards of health and safety based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization and local health authorities: to this end, you will need to self-disclose COVID-19 symptoms, to undergo temperature screening at the entrance of the VAC using non-contact equipment, to wear appropriate mask and be checked contactless by the security service of the VAC. In case you have any symptoms of COVID-19, please, DO NOT visit our VAC. Applicants without mask and applicants with a temperature above 37 degrees Celsius will not be allowed to enter the premises. As the VAC cannot be crowded, you may be asked to wait outside the VAC. While waiting inside, please keep social distance of 2 meters vis-à-vis others. Please note that your appointment slot will be rescheduled to a later date in case you have any COVID-19 symptoms. We suggest you to prepare your application and all necessary documents in advance (click here for more information) to avoid waiting time at the VAC.

Protecting the health of the applicants and our employees during these testing times of the pandemic is of utmost importance. We are following the recommendations of the Health and Governmental authorities and have put in place best practices to minimize the possible exposure of applicants and employees to the coronavirus. Applicants can avoid a return to the VAC and have their passports returned via courier service at an additional cost that will be kept to the minimum.

Important Note: PROCESSING TIME OF APPLICATIONS FOR SCHENGEN VISA
Dear Applicant, on instructions of the Greek Consulate in New Delhi, there are important time constraints as to the granting of Schengen visas. For more information please click here.

IMPORTANT: Due to extremely heavy load in the number of applications, you are strongly advised to apply well in advance of your trip to Greece allowing a longer period than the standard 15 working days.
If, however, you decide to apply for a visa within the said 15 working days from your departure date of your trip, you are at risk of your passport being returned from the Consulate without a visa.

Please note that your passport, along with your application and supporting documents, is dispatched for processing to the Greek Embassy in New Delhi on the next working day for applications submitted in New Delhi VAC and on the third working day for applications submitted in any other location in India.
Your passport remains at the Greek Embassy until your application is processed.
When your passport is returned from the Greek Embassy, you will be notified to come and collect it from the Visa Application Center where you submitted your application or, in case where Courier Service is opted, the passport will be dispatched to your address on the next working day.

Furthermore, all the other Visa Application Centres remain closed until further notice.
